How many types of digital signage ? 4 Types.

There are 4 types of digital signage :1, Dynamic digital signage  2, Advertising digital signage  3,Automated digital signage 4, Interactive Digital Signage

Dynamic digital signage

It is commonly used in retail, healthcare (especially clinics and hospital centers), and the fast food industry. More recently, significant deployments have been launched for chains such as McDonald's and Tim Hortons for menu displays.

Automated digital signage

Automated digital signage is not widely known, although this type of signage has existed in residential real estate for over 15 years, displaying properties for sale or rent. Automation is also very popular in public transport, where timetables indicate when the next train or bus will arrive. Automated digital signage is increasingly common in factories to communicate performance indicators on production metrics, quality metrics, and health and safety information.

Advertising digital signage

Advertising digital signage has an important place in big cities close to highways, where we can see eye-catching advertising panels using LED-type displays.

These types of displays are very popular in subways, bus shelters, and some city facilities (usually caller Morris columns). These installations require LCD-type displays with very high brightness levels and dedicated software with integrated CRM modules for customer and contract management and billing functions. These systems create the advanced display reporting ("Proof of Play") required by advertisers and their agencies, who have invested heavily in advertising.

 Interactive Digital Signage

Interactive digital signage goes by many different names. In the early 2000s, they were called "interactive terminals" and have since been called "interactive kiosks". Although interactive kiosks have been around for over 20 years, the demand for interactive items in recent years has given rise to a new term, "smart kiosks."

Smart kiosks in hotels and conference centers

Over the past few years, Marvel has had the opportunity to deliver various smart kiosk projects in the hotel and convention center sectors. The common goal requested by the client was to implement a digital display solution that would integrate a centralized event management calendar to be displayed on a screen installed near the meeting room door. These monitors are used to display events and promotions for many services offered to clients in hotels and convention centers.

The information displayed to customers is provided through an interactive concierge service accessible through a terminal in portrait mode (similar to an iPhone) and equipped with a 55-inch touchscreen. The goal of the smart kiosk is to inform customers in real time of the services and activities offered by the hotel. Personalized maps, rich wayfinding systems, help guide customers to the room they are looking for.
